Have a Pleasant Holiday Season. The Editors

From the
President's Garage

As I sit here looking at the snow, I think I should have dug up the bulbs instead of piddling around with the car and putting some finishing touches on The Garage. I hope it warms up again soon so I can get them out of the ground before they freeze solid and then I have to explain why there are car parts AND new flowers on the credit card. November is a slow month for us British Cars folk so I should find the time.

The big event this month is Her Majesty's Royal Nebraska Patrol's annual planing party on the 18th at Bev & Ben Anderson's house. Be sure to come with your ideas for next year's events and a dish for a potluck dinner.

On Friday, the 17th of November, the Irish duet, ELLIS ISLAND will be performing at McGuire's Irish Pub. The food is good (burgers, fish, and the like). The beer is really good (Guinnes and lesser stature), and there is NO COVER!

Sue and I saw them a while back and they are very good. They play the harmonica, Irish drums, guitar, accordian, banjo, and the sing Irish ditties, songs, and the like. I want to make reservations for us to sit together so please e-mail or call me before Wednesday the 15th if you plan to go. That's it for this month, folks. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving. (I'm thankful I don't work for the election Commission in Florida!)
