They began seeing each other after both were widowed about 2 years ago. Tom and Tessa, we are delighted for both of you. We wish you have many happy years together. One of Tom's sons was married in July, and Tom's TC was the means of transport from the church. We asked if Tom had given the young man any advice. He replied that he had just before leaving the church and that the advice given was; "Don't come back if you damage the car!" Pictures of both weddings are included for your enjoyment. ![]() John Ulrich was driving his MGB GT down a country road when it suddenly quit. He got out and was looking under the bonnet when a cow came down the road and asked him if he had car problems. Startled, John answered, "Yes." The cow said "Yeah, it's probably that carburetor, you know how they act up." A surprised John took off running down the road until he met a farmer whereupon he told him about the talking cow and how she told him what was wrong with his MG. "Was she a red cow with a big brown patch over her eye?" the farmer asked. "Why yes," said John. "Well, don't listen to her, she don't know 'nutten about them ferin cars." |
Annual St. Patrick's Day Party
This club is quite a melting pot of personalities and the mix of conversation, food, drink, and fun could be found very few other places. It was good to see so many new faces and some of the regulars who haven't been in attendance for a while. Some had real good excuses and are forgiven. Where else would one find a TV Producer, an electrian, and a music teacher playing the piano and singing What Do You Do With A Drunken Sailor along with other classic Irish music? And then there is the case of one of the Air Force's finest who showed up in drag. Something about running a foot race in a green dress to a number of Omaha bars. At least he had a female companion with him‚although she was wearing PANTS! The food was a cornucopia of palatable delights. Everything from homemade enchiladas to smoked ribs. There were numerous casseroles ![]() |
